Transcription: Through the eyes of a turtle, this site looks real appealing. Turtles seek out dry, woody structures such as this, especially in exposed areas along the shoreline, to bask. And this is especially important in the springtime as turtles emerge from their overwintering sites and just prior to nesting when the females need to develop the eggs.
